Boss Coin Gear & Ascension
The strongest gear on HempMS comes from the Boss Coin Line (@bql, or Kettle in the Free Market). Spend Boss Coins from boss kills on Legendary Maple weapons and Genesis armor, upgrade them, then Ascend them for even more stats.
This gear is only available from @bql. It is not sold by any other NPC and is not dropped by monsters. Only gear bought from @bql can be upgraded or Ascended.
How it works
- Buy a weapon (600 Boss Coins) or armor piece (300 Boss Coins). It comes with high stats right away.
- Upgrade it: 250 attempts, 10 Boss Coins each, 70% success. Each success adds +12,500 to STR, DEX, INT, LUK, W.ATT and M.ATT. A failed attempt uses the attempt but never removes stats.
- Ascend it once all 250 attempts are used: 2,000 Boss Coins for +50% of the shop stats, the Ascended tag and 250 new attempts worth +25,000 each.
- Upgrade the Ascended item again until its new attempts are used up. An item can be Ascended once.
The item has to be equipped to upgrade or Ascend it.
