7 recurring events, paying out Event Points (and Pink Zakum Coupons) - spend Event Points at the Event Point shop (@epshop, or the "Legend Shop" NPC in Free Market) for Donation Points, Golden Meso Bags, Miraculous/Legendary Chaos Scrolls, and Perfect Innocence Scrolls.
Talk to Head Researcher Wynn in Free Market, or just type @joinevent anywhere - both open the same menu, listing whichever of these events is currently open to join. No level requirement and no party needed for any of them.
Monster Carnival, King of the Hill, Nett's Pyramid, Ola Ola, OX Quiz and Fitness share one rotating schedule: every 2 hours (00:00, 02:00, 04:00 ... 22:00 server time), one of the six is randomly picked to open for a 3-minute registration window, announced in game and on Discord. Every event runs twice a day, but which one runs at which time is random - keep an eye on @joinevent or the announcements rather than expecting a fixed clock time. Only one character per IP can join each round.
| Event | Type | Length | Reward |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monster Carnival | Team vs team | 5 minutes | 3 Event Points for every player on the winning team |
| King of the Hill | Everyone at once | 5 minutes | Up to 4 Event Points, +1 for the round winner |
| Nett's Pyramid | Solo | Wave survival | 3 Event Points |
| Ola Ola | Race | 5 minutes | 3 Event Points for everyone who finishes |
| OX Quiz | Elimination quiz | 10 questions | 3 Event Points for everyone who answers all 10 right |
| Fitness | Obstacle race | 30 minutes | 3 Event Points for everyone who finishes |
| Pink Zakum | Solo boss (any time) | 15 minutes | 1 Pink Zakum Coupon |
Friday Daily Bonus: 2x Event Points from every rotating event except King of the Hill (so 6 instead of 3).
Pink Zakum works differently - it's not on that rotation at all. You can fight it any time, up to twice a day, on a fixed twice-daily reset (12:00 AM and 12:00 PM server time) rather than a 24-hour cooldown - see its own section below.
A 2-team point race. Once registration closes (needs at least 2 people signed up, or the round is cancelled), everyone is split into Team Hemp and Team Sativa and warped into the arena.
| How to play | Kill the enemy team's guardian monsters - they drop point items worth 1, 2, or 3 points each. Pick them up to bank the points for your team. |
| Round length | 5 minutes |
| Reward | Everyone on the winning team gets +3 Event Points (6 on Fridays). A tie gives nothing to either side. |
A shifting capture-zone event. After the registration window closes, everyone is warped together into the arena for a 5-minute round.
| How to play | A "hill" zone appears somewhere in the arena and relocates every 10-15 seconds. Stand inside it to bank seconds - any number of players can stand in it and bank at the same time, it's not exclusive. |
| Round length | 5 minutes |
| Reward | Your total time in the hill converts to Event Points as you cross thresholds: 31s = 1 EP, 91s = 2 EP, 151s = 3 EP, 210s+ = 4 EP (max 4 from thresholds). Whoever banked the single most time in the whole round also gets +1 bonus EP and a server-wide shoutout. |
A solo survival/defense challenge - once you register, you get your own private instance, nobody else is in it with you.
| How to play | You start with 20 lives and fight through 19 waves of monsters. Letting a monster slip past costs you a life; run out of lives and the attempt fails. Clear every wave to win. |
| Attempts | Whenever it comes up in the rotation (twice a day) |
| Reward | Clearing all the waves gets you +3 Event Points (6 on Fridays) plus bonus party EXP. Running out of lives gives nothing - try again on the next rotation. |
A portal-guessing race across 3 stages. Everyone starts together once registration closes.
| How to play | Climb to the row of portals at the top of each stage - only one of them is correct, and it changes every round. The wrong portal sends you back to the start of that stage. Stage 1 has 5 portals, stage 2 has 8 and stage 3 has 16. Everyone moves at the same speed. |
| Round length | 5 minutes |
| Reward | Everyone who finishes stage 3 in time gets +3 Event Points (6 on Fridays); the first finisher is announced to the server. Winning or losing, you end up in the Free Market. |
A true/false elimination quiz with the classic MapleStory OX questions.
| How to play | Each question appears on screen with a 15-second timer. Drop down and stand on the left for O (true) or the right for X (false) before time runs out. Stay on the top floor or stand on the wrong side and you're out. |
| Round length | 10 questions |
| Reward | Everyone who answers all 10 correctly gets +3 Event Points (6 on Fridays). Winning or losing, you end up in the Free Market. |
The classic MapleStory Physical Fitness Test - a 4-stage obstacle course.
| How to play | Climb, jump and dodge your way to the portal at the end of each of the 4 stages. Everyone moves at the same speed. |
| Round length | 30 minutes |
| Reward | Everyone who reaches the finish in time gets +3 Event Points (6 on Fridays); the first finisher is announced to the server. Winning or losing, you end up in the Free Market. |
A solo boss fight, always available (not on the shared rotation above) - talk to Wynn, use @pzakshop, or double-click the Pink Zakum Coupon currency item to start.
| How to play | Solo fight against Pink Zakum. You have 15 minutes to kill it - a few small cosmetic adds spawn alongside it but don't need to be killed, only the boss itself matters. |
| Attempts | Up to twice per day, resetting at a fixed 12:00 AM and 12:00 PM server time (not a rolling 24h cooldown per attempt) |
| Reward | Defeating it within the time limit grants 1x Pink Zakum Coupon. Running out of time gives nothing. |
Pink Zakum Coupon Shop (@pzakshop, or NPC "Mia"): spend coupons on a Helmet and Arms (one of each per character, any tier), 4 tiers you can upgrade between:
