Sit in a chair on your Free Market map, hold a worm (Fish Bait, bought from the Fishing NPC with Donation Points), and use @fishing or the fishing NPC to start. Each worm is one cast/attempt.
Given a successful catch, here's how often you land each tier:
| Tier | Odds (of a catch) | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Small Fish | ~81% | 1 Fishing Coin |
| Medium Fish | ~12.7% | 2 Fishing Coins |
| Normal Fish | ~4.6% | 3 Fishing Coins |
| Big Fish | ~0.22% | 5 Fishing Coins |
| Scatter / Bonus Round | ~1.35% | 10 free bonus casts |
| Gold Fish | ~0.01% | 100 Fishing Coins |
Only about 7.7% of casts land a catch at all (rest come up empty) - the percentages above are the split among those catches, not the raw per-cast chance.
Enter how many worms you're using and how much DP you paid for them, then toggle any bonuses that apply, to see your estimated catches and Fishing Coin income. The Ice Fishing chair, the Fishing King medal, and the Donation Angel Medal each grant an independent per-cast chance at a bonus Small Fish - but combining them is capped, not additive (see below). Golden Essence for Fish Bait is a separate mechanic entirely - it reshuffles the catch tiers themselves instead.
| Tier | Estimated catches |
|---|---|
| Small Fish | - |
| Medium Fish | - |
| Normal Fish | - |
| Big Fish | - |
| Scatter / Bonus Round FC not counted below | - |
| Gold Fish | - |
The FC total above does NOT include Scatter/Bonus Round winnings. Landing a Scatter triggers 10 free bonus casts of its own (a separate mechanic), which pay out more FC on top of the number shown - that extra income is not estimated here, so treat the total as a floor, not the full picture.
Estimates only - actual results vary run to run, especially for Big/Gold Fish which are rare enough that a single session can easily land above or below the average.
